Holiday Gift Guide: Yummy Earth Gummy Bears *giveaway*
I LOVE candy and so do my kids. However, I hate feeling guilty (especially since Halloween was just around the corner) for stuffing the stockings with all kinds of candy. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a candy that you could give your kids that tasted good and didn't make you feel bad about giving it to them?
Well, do I have a great surprise for you! Have you ever tried Yummy Earth products? I became a fan last year of their organic lollipops. They have these awesome and unique flavors, are good for your kids and taste great!
The company, Yum Earth, is the number 1 organic candy company in the United States. It was founded by two kids who wanted to share wholesome treats with their families that also tasted good. They are dedicated to making delicious treats using all natural ingredients, no artificial colors and no artificial flavors. They also are great for school snacks because they have no major allergens such as gluten, nuts and dairy. I know that's always a worry when we go on playdates on school outings. You don't want to bring something that a kid can't have.
My Take: I had the pleasure of trying out the YumEarth Organics Christmas Gummy Bears. My kids and I both love gummy treats but I'm not big on the sugar or artificial ingredients. YumEarth Christmas Gummy Bears "are made with real fruit juice and other planet-friendly and natural ingredients. They contain no artificial colors or flavors and no major allergens, such as gluten, nuts and dairy and no high-fructose corn syrup. Each serving provides 100% of daily vitamin C and has less than 70 calories." Now if that doesn't make you happy then I don't know what will.
What do I love about them? Number one, they are in individual little packs. Each pack has about 8 gummy bears. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but they are large in size. These packs are going to be perfect to put in the kids' stockings.
Number two, the taste. They have three yummy flavors: pomegranate pucker, strawberry smash, and sour apple tart. When you eat them it's like a juice explosion. My daughter is convinced that there is juice inside each gummy bear and that's why they taste so good. She puts the whole bear in her mouth because she doesn't want to spill the juice.
Finally, number three, each pack has 100% daily dose of Vitamin C! Right now with all the germs and bugs going around right now any extra Vitamin C the kids can get is great!
Are there any downsides? I can only think of one superficial one. The bears don't really look that much like bears. My son didn't know what they were. However, the taste makes up for the looks so the kids didn't seem to mind too much! :)
Buy it: Right now you can get the cute Christmas 10 pack for SRP $6.99. Not to mention you can try out the organic lollipops (which I love), sour beans or shop drops (great for adults...LOL)...OR
Win it: That's right! I have a pack of the Christmas Gummy Bears to giveaway. This giveaway will begin on December 13 and end on December 22.
