Start Simple, Start Right with Kellogg's

I have to admit that my family really aren't breakfast eaters. Sure, I know it's my fault, I don't really like to eat breakfast, but it's something that I want to change. We never have much time in the mornings for a "big" breakfast so I'm always looking for something quick to give the kids, i.e. something they can eat in the car some mornings. So what's the answer? Well, my first answer was yogurt. Quick and easy but it wasn't feeling the kids up.

Thanks to Mom Central Consulting and Kellogg's I found the second answer. Cereal! I was sent a complete "Start Simple, Start Right" breakfast kit that included a box of:

One thing I like about Kellogg's is there "Seed to Spoon" initiative. Their philosophy is: "By giving you our best, you can be at your best". They do this by working closely with local grain farmers, learning all about the growth, nutritional benefits, and best ways to use grain. They take this information and use it to make the best and most beneficial cereal for our families. As a mom that's exactly what I want to hear. A company that is more worried about keeping us healthy than making money. To learn more about the Seed to Spoon initiative check out the image below or check out these videos HERE, HERE, and HERE

As I said before I try to give the kids something simple and healthy to eat for breakfast. Kellogg's cereal is simple with few ingredients and full of nutrition, the things that are important for me. We decided to try each out and see how it went. I personally am a big fan of Raisin Bran so of course I loved it. The kids not so much. The kids loved the Corn Flakes, without milk or course. However, the All Bran wasn't a hit with any of us so we paid it forward and gave it to some friends who like it. Finally there's the Rice Krispies. The biggest hit ever. As a matter of fact I used some for our Halloween party we had this weekend. They made the cutest pumpkins ever (I added the faces with picmonkey...hehehe)!

So if you're a mom and you're looking for a quick, easy and healthy breakfast then you should check out Kellogg's Start Simple, Start Right and Seed to Spoon initiative. I'm sure they will have you running to the store to grab a box of Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran or your favorite Kellogg's cereal.

Disclosure:I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kellogg’s. I received sample products to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
