End of Summer, Start of fall with Honey Bunches of Oats! Review

A few weeks ago I received an end of summer package from Honey Bunches of Oats and I thought it would be too late to actually enjoy it. Although, I know it's officially fall sometimes down here in NC (and apparently a lot of other places) it still feels like summer! Last week we had weather up into the mid 80's! So it was perfect weather to enjoy the cereal.

I'm sure that everyone knows about Honey Bunches of Oats. It's one of my favorite cereals. As a matter of fact I have a bowl with some milk every morning. It's actually one of the few cereals that I put milk into! I think the best part for me is not only the taste but how healthy it is! One serving (3/4 cup) boasts only 120 calories, is heart healthy (og trans fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol per serving), has 9 essential vitamins and minerals, and 10g of Whole Grain per serving) *care of Honey Bunches of Oats fact sheet
Also did you know there are 9 different flavors of Honey Bunches of Oats including Just Bunches and Fruit Blends. I actually loved to add raisins to the original Honey Bunches of Oats so I was excited to see they now have a Honey Bunches of Oats Raisin Medley!

My Take: Of course I LOVE the cereal but I really want to brag on the End of Summer gift pack I received. Just look at it:

It included:

  • a yoga mat
  • a Bocce game kit (we've never played so this was fun)
  • 4 cereal bowls
  • 4 spoons
  • a Box of Honey Bunches of Oats
  • a water bottle with reusable ice cubes to carry your milk
  • a Honey Bunches of Oat t-shirt
  • a tote bag with speakers and insert for MP3 player
I must say we loved every single item! The tote bag is insulated and the speakers are so cool. We hooked up my husbands iPod Touch and jammed out while playing Bocce. Not to mention we got some new tunes with the $10 iTunes credit that was included in the bag:

And of course I wanted to add pictures of the kids having fun with the new game. My daughter has never even played and she was a pro! We can't wait to get the neighbors in on the fun! It's supposed to be nice weather for the next few weeks so I think we might have to plan a Sunday morning brunch with some Honey Bunches of Oats, our tote bag and a nice round of Bocce. What do you think?

Disclosure: These items were provided to me at no charge by Honey Bunches of Oats. I was not paid nor compensated in any other way. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
