Neutrogena Wipes help keep the tears at bay on the first day! #Healthyvalue

Now I have to be honest with you. I don't wear much makeup. However, there are the occasional day when a SAHM goes out and likes to dress it up a little. Mind you, that's not very often for me, but it does happen. I've also learned that the older I get, the more attention I have to pay to my face. Yes, I'm talking about fine lines and dark spots. I honestly think that children are the cause of them. Shhh...I didn't say that but honestly, they didn't start really showing up until those two little ones came into the picture.

Not only am I a low maintenance mom but I'm also a frugal mom. Where do frugal moms shop? Sam's Club. I normally make a trip to Sam's Club at least once, sometimes twice a month to stock up on bulk items for my family. The kids are getting older and in more activities so it's easier for me to cut down on the amount of trips I take to the store.

Every time I head to Sam's I look for a new product or food to try with my family. However, this week I had a particular assignment. I had to find the Neutrogena Makeup Remover wipes and try them out. I was a little disappointed that the first Sam's Club I visited didn't have them but I did find a new frozen food product to try with the family. Asian cuisine is one of my favorite to fix so this will be perfect for lettuce wraps! Oh and I can't forget my major find: BANANA PUDDING ice cream from Blue Bell! If you're a southerner and you haven't tried this then you don't know what you are missing.

The next day I headed out with my Partner-In-Crime a.k.a. my daughter, for a trip to the Sam's Club in the next city. I made a call and made sure they had the wipes and I thought it would be fun for her to tag along. She already had her purse and even offered to pay for everything.
This Sam's Club came through for us and I was able to purchase the Makeup Remover Wipes and Band-Aid with QuiltVent Technology bandages. It was interesting to see how many facial products you can actually buy in bulk. I would have never imagined there would be so many!

I already carry the band-aids around with my spray Neosporin in my purse. Trust me, you always need bandaids with preschool aged kiddos!  I really loved this particular store and you can see all the fun my daughter and I had in my google + album. Finally we picked up the wipes and the band-aids (along with a few other products) and headed on our way. These were going to be perfect for what I had planned for my neighbors.
I made cute little first day of school survival kits for moms. Both of my neighbors have kiddos that will be headed to preschool this year and sometimes we preschool moms get left out. However, preschool is just as trying and stressful as the first day of elementary school. I thought they would both appreciate a little gift to brighten their day and make it a little easier. I included kleenex (for those who cry as they say goodbye), a pen and pencil (there are always 50 forms to fill out), some Smarties candies (remember you're sending your little "smarties" off to school), and some Neutrogena Wipes (to freshen up your makeup or that mascara that might have ran when you shed a tear or two). I wanted it to be something simple that would fit in their purse because I knew their hands would be filled with directing their kiddos around the room and holding papers.

I personally tried out the wipes (because I did wear makeup to my daughter's school orientation) and I liked them. They did have a definite perfume scent to them but it took my mascara and foundation right off. I usually do apply makeup to my eyes so I'm always looking for the best eye makeup remover that I can find and this one passed the test. They were also the perfect size. Not so small that I had to use several and not so big that I drenched my face! We were pretty busy last night getting my daughter prepared for her first day so it was nice to have something quick and clean to use to clean my face. Lots easier than creams, wash cloths and me spilling water everywhere!

If you want to try out these wipes or learn more about Neutrogena products then follow @JNJStories on facebook. They occasionally have contests and coupons too! (Sorry, just had to add in that frugal note).
