The year started off great. My husband was coming back from deployment, I was getting all organized with my blog and the kids were doing great. And then the rain started!
The kids and me were sick for almost the entire month of January, My husband comes home and he gets sick two days after he was back. Now, don't get me wrong it was nothing major for any of us, just a big pain in the butt with stomach flus, allergies and colds. I had a few mommy parties to do and the turnout was pretty small because all my friends were in the same situation battling colds and illness. Then it started pouring!
My computer died. Yes, I mean died! Completely turned off and wouldn't turn back on. Mind you, my husband's computer had already died before he made back into the country. Darn sand! So I had a few blogging deadlines I missed! Great! Messing up my organized blogging schedule already!! And to top it off I lost all my saved up blogging information, pictures, and tons of other stuff! So off we went to buy a new computer! To add to that expense, both cars had to have their brakes and tires fixed! So a few thousand later we're trying to pull our heads above water! OK so that is exaggerating, Thank goodness we follow the Dave Ramsey plan so we had an awesome emergency fund that took care of all these emergency expenses!
So finally I thought I was going to be able to start blogging again. HA! HA! The kids are sick again, my allergies are acting up and things are still in a whirlwind! I haven't been able to be involved in some of my favorite online communities and I've neglected some of my favorite blogs! :(
What does all of this mean? Well, I just want to thank everyone who has stood by and continued to read my blog. I have two promises to make. One to my readers and one to my family. I promise you, my readers, that I will try to be on here as much as I can with great articles, deals and fun reviews and giveaways. To my family, I promise to spend more quality time and enjoy having my husband home. I know those sound like a walking contradiction when combined but then again, that's another story. ..
