#Purex UltraPacks: Perfect for Potty Training!

I love being a Purex insider! It's one of those perks to being a SAHM. You always have to do laundry and if you're like me, you're always looking for products that will work for your kiddos. Unfortunately, both my kids have sensitive skin, my son has super dry skin along with a dry skin condition, so I have to be careful with what I wash their clothes in and what I bathe them in. Well, here's the bad news. I'm potty training my son the last resort way. I ditched the diapers, then I ditched the pull-ups and I've moved on to underwear. After a week, it seems to be working; if only we could get him to do #2 in the potty then we will be set! And all you moms know, no #2s in the potty mean that we have lots of laundry to do in this house. So what's the quickest, easiest and best for my kiddos skin solution?

Introducing Purex UltraPacks (debuting in stores February of this year) convenient pre-dosed liquid
detergent packs that make doing laundry easier than ever.
And the best part is they come in the yummy smelling Mountain Breeze and my favorite for the kids Free & Clear. They are so easy to use. You just need to make sure your hands are dry (wet hands can cause the film over the liquid tablet to dissolve) then throw it into the tub of your washing machine, add clothes and start your cycle. (They do recommend adding two tablets if you have a large load or heavily soiled clothes).

My Take: So what did I think? Well I think they are perfect. I'm already a big Purex Free & Clear user so this was just another tool to add to my arsenal. I just throw in a tablet, add those soiled and offending potty clothes and I'm off to the races. The clothes come out clean and looking great. My only problem is they don't have a fabric softener added into it so I just add my own. And with potty clothes I also like to add a dryer sheet in when I dry them just to freshen up the smell. Free & Clear has absolutely no smell for obvious reasons but sometimes I just need to add a little something. If you do want a great smell then use the Mountain Breeze. I love it for my clothes. So if you're looking for a great new and easy washing alternative (no spills, no mess, no heavy, space taking jugs) then be on the lookout for Purex UltraPacks!

As a matter of fact, starting in Mid February (I'll keep you updated) Purex will offering free samples. Oh how I love free samples! And stay tuned...hopefully early next week (waiting to receive the coupons) I'll be offering a giveaway for coupons to try out a free pack of Purex Ultrapacks! Woo-hoo!

Disclosure: Purex provided a free sample of their UltraPacks laundry detergent to facilitate this review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

  1. Can't wait til they launch a free sample. I like the concept. And you know what? These would be great for folks who have to do their laundry at a laundromat. I have a huge comforter I have to wash there and try to carry as little stuff with me as possible. I've even dosed out liquid detergent and put it in a plastic baggy once! I didn't have enough hands to carry the bottle with me. LOL!
