I'm sure that's the question some of my readers are asking! It just so happens that I have an answer for you.
First, don't ever get sick during the busiest time of the year. I had everything all planned out down to my last minute (first week of December) shopping and then IT happened. My son gets sick. Not just a little sick but BIG sick, sinus infection. His first one. So they give him anibiotics and what did that lead to? Runny stools! Yes, I know that's gross but 10 days of runny stools and only going to school the last few of those days really messed up my schedule. Oh and you thought that was it? HAHAHA! If only.... Next, I get sick. Not once, but twice! The first time was awful abdominal cramps that couldn't be explained that lasted for about 5 days. Only thing that would help was pain pills. And sure enough as soon as I got better, I got a stomach virus! Yes, unable to really do anything for 4 days! Thank goodness for awesome friends who also happen to be my neighbors!
Second, we went to Disney on Ice. I was still a little yucky but it was a great show! It was especially for children with deployed parents. It was absolutely free and my kids loved it. We had awesome seats! We were 4 rows back from the ice and my daughter even dressed up like Snow White!
Third, I had to plan a mommy party. Yes, an oral B mommy party. I'll let you know the details on that one in a post that will go live later today. It was lots of fun and I learned a lot, including, holiday time is the worse time for a mommy party when you are dealing with military families...LOL
Fourth, and finally, planning a birthday party. I have an angel that was born on Christmas Day so we always try to have her birthday before all her friends go away for the holidays. This year she wanted Dora and for some reason it was super hard to find Dora stuff! However, it all turned out to be a success! Mommy is just super tired and ready for a break herself.
So please bare with me as I try to get back on track. I had lots I wanted to share, including my awesome Holiday Decor, Disney on Ice, Gigglin Garden update and more. But just remember, I have a house to clean, laundry to do and kids to play with so forgive me if I don't get it all posted up before the New Year!
