#Hartstrings Fashion Show for the Winter

My daughter just took her first school pictures ever last week. People who know me, know that I have the worst anxiety when it comes to taking pictures. Family pictures almost make me want to break out in hives. I run around the house trying to coordinate us all and nothing ever works. I usually end up running out to a store and buying all new outfits for the whole family! I mean, they have to be perfect!! So you can imagine how I felt when I found out that it was picture time for my daughter. I had no idea what she was going to wear! I knew I wanted her in a dress but lately she has been boycotting dresses. What to do? What to do?

Well right at that time, I found out that I was picked to do a little review for a store called Hartstrings. I looked online and saw all the super cute clothes they had. Tons of dresses and sweaters all perfect for a dress up picture. And lucky me, there was an outlet only 45 minutes away from my house! Only bad problem is I have to take the kids with me. It's so much easier to shop without them but I wanted my daughter to put on a fashion show. (I really wanted to video it but my son wouldn't hold still long enough for me to actually do that. He actually ran out of the store once! TWO YEAR OLDS...LOL)

So I packed up the kids and myself on a chilly morning and headed to the Carolina Premium Outlets in Smithfield, NC. I was surprised to see it was just a small little store in the big chain of stores available. There was a lone sign above the door pointing it out. I almost missed it!

Then we went inside. I must admit I was a little wary about looking at the clothes. I knew I had a stipend I could spend but after looking at the prices online I knew that meant I could only get one outfit. Until I saw these:
Yes, my favorite thing! Sale prices! 60% off! What?!? I was all over that and then the 25% off along with what the price would be! SCORE! I immediately started picking up clothes and figured I would just let her try on everything and then pick our favorites. Below is our fashion show:

Now I must admit, I know it's my child, but I LOVED every one of these outfits so you know what? I bought every one of them! I was highly impressed with the quality of the clothes. All the dresses were pretty thick and for it to be an outlet I didn't see any loose stitches or anything. It's the kind of clothing that you are scared to wash because you think it has to be dry cleaned. I actually washed one of the dresses on gentle and laid it flat to dry and it did perfect! No complaints here! I absolutely loved all the colors and modern designs. I few of my friends even referred to some of the dresses as being retro. LOVE IT! All but one fit into my stipend (meaning I got all the outfits including the cardigan for $100!) I even got the little man to try on an outfit!

So which outfit was the winner?

Yep! Here she is before we headed to school. Looking just like an angel. So have I found a new favorite store? You betcha! I'm actually headed back after Christmas! And if you want to keep up with the latest from Hartstrings then I suggest you follow them on Facebook and Twitter. It's totally worth it. You'll get the latest designs and discounts!

Disclosure: I received a gift card to Hartstrings to use to purchase this clothing as part of a promotional program with Hartstrings and MomSelect. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
