HDG- #Review & #giveaway: Carmex Healing Lotion

I'm always on the lookout for great stocking stuffers and I just found my latest addition to the stocking love. My kids, and I, both have super dry skin. For my son it's to the point that he has eczema, so lotion is our best friend! I don't think I go a day without using lotion and you will find it stashed throughout the house, in my car, and in almost every purse or travel bag I carry! My newest and latest favorite is Carmex Healing Cream and Lotion.

Carmex Healing Cream has nine healing ingredients help repair the driest, roughest skin while the Healing Lotion offers daily skin protection with soothing aloe and vitamin E.

My Take: As a member of the Carmex Blogger Squad I receieved an awesome review package that included one 5.5oz tube and one 1oz tube of the Healing Lotion along with one 4oz tube and one .75oz tube of the Healing Cream. Personally I'm a big fan of the Healing Lotion. It applies lightly and it actually feels like it leaves a protective cover over your skin. It locks in the moisture and is perfect for those early mornings when I have to warm up the car before I take the kids to school. Normally my hands chap right up in that few minutes. So now I apply the lotion before I go out and it's really helped! The 1oz tube is also perfect for carrying in my pocket or purse. I use the Healing Cream on my son after his bath. There have been several times where I lotion him up after his bath and the next morning he's dry again! Now I just apply the cream and it really helps to keep him moisturized. It is really thick so I personally don't use it but it's something that he really needs. The only negative, and this is just a personal one, is I don't like the smell. I love using Carmex products but the smell is not my favorite. I know it says pleasant scent but it's not pleasant for me. like I said this is just a personal opinion. =)

Buy it: Carmex Healing Lotion and Cream are available for purchase at Walgreens, Walgreens.com, drugstore.com, CVS and CVS.com.
