Fleischmann's #SimplyHomemade Bread Spaghetti Party

My family loves pasta and they love bread. There's nothing like the taste of fresh baked bread, not to mention the smell. But, alas, I just don't have the time (or the bread maker) to make fresh bread. That's why I was super excited when I was picked to host a Fleischmann's Simply Homemade Bread party! I knew exactly what I wanted to do! A spaghetti party for my close neighbors and my own family. It would be nice and simple, everyone could participate and the kids would love it!

First a little bit about Fleischmann's Simply Homemade bread. Simply Homemade®, brought to you by Fleischmann's ® Yeast is a convenient mix that allows you to make delicious homemade bread in three easy steps. Simply stir, rise and bake. Available in 4 delicious flavors (Country White, Stoneground Wheat, Italian herb and Multi-Grain), the mix contains everything you need, including yeast and sugar. Just add 1 cup of water and you're only an hour away from enjoying fresh-baked bread!

My Take: So how did my party go? It was a blast! I think all the guests were a little concerned at first about the bread (hey we're all used to heating up frozen bread because we are busy moms...LOL) but when they saw how easy it was to make it was a hit. The other guests helped out big time by bringing sides for our spaghetti dinner. I got a few pics of how to make the bread and a few pics of the actual meal. Meal pictures can get kind of hard when you have a group of preschoolers running around. You can see the parents barely had a chance to sit and eat...LOL. The next time we decided we would do this meal when the kids were in school. =)

Bread Prep: (Things got so crazy I didn't get pics of the finished loaf!)

First yeast and sugar

then add water and bread mix
pre-cooked loaf sitting to rise

all the goodies for the guests

Enjoying the meal:

The best thing about Fleischmann's is there are several mix-ins that you can add to your bread to give it a special little Umph! I added in italian cheese with mine. If you're looking for something festive what about dried cranberries and orange peels? Or sun dried tomatoes and basil? There are so many choices. Check out the Stir-in ideas from Fleischmann's HERE.
