#Review & #Giveaway: Kooky Spooky & Tricks and Treats

Oh how I love Halloween! And I'm loving all these awesome Halloween decor, movies and costumes! My kids keep seeing all the Halloween cartoons on TV and want to watch them again and again! So when I was offered a chance to review and giveaway DVDs from two of my kids favorite shows I jumped all over it. I mean, who doesn't love WordWorld and The Cat in the Hat!?! My kids have learned so much from them. Let me tell you a little more about each DVD.

Word World: Kooky Spooky Halloween

The WordFriends get their share of scares the night  before Halloween, when Pig sleep walks and everyone thinks he's a ghost! Sheep is making herself a super special fairy costume to wear for the big Halloween party.  But what will she do when her WordFriends need pieces of her costume for their own use?

The Cat in the Hat: Trick and Treats

A new spooky adventure this DVD brings, with The Cat, Nick and Sally, Fish and the Things. Meet the eeriest critters you have ever seen, arrived just in time for this Halloween! There'll be lots of tricks and, of course lots of treats, to share with the animal friends you will meet! There's a coconut crab, spider monkeys and bats, and plenty more fun with The Cat in the Hat!

My Take: Honestly, I only watched a little bit of the Cat in the Hat with my son but let me tell you, he didn't move. He loves that show! I think he's favorite episode is Batty for Bats. He kept saying he wanted bats for his party. Now I did watch WordWorld and I love the Kooky Spooky Halloween episode. It was so cute. My kids kept screaming, "there's the ghost". Then they would say, "no ghost, it just pig"! We all loved it. This is going to be perfect for the Halloween party I'm going to have for the preschoolers in our neighborhood. I'm going to play an episode while the kids eat their Candy Corn M&M popcorn balls!

Buy it: These DVDs can be found at your local retailer online, including at www.NcircleEntertainment.com for the SRP $6.99. They each have a run time of about 30 minutes and the WordWorld DVD has a bonus feature of the Monster Maker Music Video.

Win it: I have a copy of each DVD to giveaway to one lucky reader. This giveaway will begin on October 4 and end on October 17 (hopefully you will be able to get it before Halloween although I can't make any gurantees). It is open to the US only. Just fill out the simple Rafflecopter form to enter! GOOD LUCK!

Disclosure: These DVDs were provided to me at no charge by NCircle Entertainment in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. I was not paid nor compensated in any other way.
