Review: Blair Candy

I LOVE candy and now that it's getting closer to Halloween (okay so it's over a month away but decorations, costumes and CANDY are starting to show up everywhere) I can't help but start thinking about buying candy! So when the Family Review Network gave me the chance to review some yummy treats from Blair Candy I couldn't wait to start picking!

Blair Candy is a family owned and operated company that has been around for 71+ years! That's a long time! They sell all kinds of awesome candy from wholesale packages to smaller party or individual size packages. They have everything from novelty, to football and even up now HALLOWEEN candies! There are chocolates, gummies, sours, and hard candies. Wow! I feel like I'm talking about the Willy Wonka Factory in the movie as I describe it!

My take: So as you can tell there was so much to choose from that I was becoming a little bit overwhelmed at trying to keep it under my limit. I was like a kid in a candy store, literally, a virtual candy store! I think my favorite group of candies were the nostalgic ones. I found something there that my hubby and I have been talking about not seeing in forever...candy cigarettes! Remember how cool you were pretending to smoke your candy cigarettes.?! Ok I know! Not PC but back then it was fun. I didn't realize until I was older that they were really encouraging children to smoke...LOL.

Ok enough about that. on to my choices! I really wanted to get a big variety so I could share them with my kids and their friends. I even made goody bags for all the kids. I'll explain with the pictures:
So I got:
  • two giant lollipops (1 for each kid)
  • army gummies (all the kids have Dads in the army)
  • Gummy Bear Rings (just too cute to resist)
  • Fluffy Stuff Cotton Candy (my kids have never had cotton candy)
  • Candy Cigarettes (of course! For the hubby and me. and look at the old box! Isn't that awesome)
I made cute little gift bags for the kids. Ok not that cute but each bag has some treats in it (I did add the cigarettes but they don't know what they are):

Finally, here's some closeups of the gummies. I just noticed that the army man was missing a foot! And my kids with their treats! They loved them and so did I! The gummies tasted great and the cigarettes were just the way I remembered them!

Buy it: Blair Candy can be purchased online. Just remember that you might not be able to order chocolate if you're in a hot environment, for obvious reasons. However, the prices and shipping is quite reasonable and there are so many choices your head will spin! Head on over and check them out. Don't forget to check out custom candy bar box and there are even treats for your cats and dogs that are all natural!  I just found some really great Halloween candy that I might have to order!!!
