Motivation Monday- On a Tuesday!
Sorry everyone! I'm a day late. Yesterday I was busy with a small party for the kids. Boy do my kids like to party! And speaking of partying, I have some celebrating to do myself! I've been trying and trying to get myself motivated to lose some weight and I'm finally starting to see the results. Sure I started off super strong and lost about half a pound in one week, not bad for me. Then things started to slow down, actually speed up. I was so busy with the kids starting school and all their activities, then Murphy's Law hit my house and everything started to fall apart so working out just fell right off the schedule.
Now I'm happy to say, I'm back on track. Have I been working out as much as I would like? Nope! BUT I am trying to work out when I can (I plan on starting the C2K program. I've been saying that for a few weeks now but I'm going to do it..LOL) and I've been eating healthier. And guess what. I'm starting to see the results on the scale! Before my hubby came back from deployment in Feb. I had gotten down to 145 lbs. (my goal is 135). Well, with him being back for only a few months I gained back up to about 155 or MORE pounds. When I started working out again right after he left in July I was at 152. I got on the scale yesterday and I'm now down to 148lbs! Woo-hoo! I'm getting there and it's making me so happy!
