#MomPact: Mompact: Review and Giveaway of Kissaboos!

Welcome to the MomPact Blog Hop. It's a week long event that begins today and ends on Saturday September 17 at midnight. It's all about celebrating and promoting momprenuers and their great inventions. There are 122 blogs participating in this hop and each are hosting reviews and giveaways of one great mom invented product! Here's my product and it's review!

The Product: Kissaboos: "Because every boo-boo needs a kiss"
Mompreneur: Robyn Pellei
Company: ViveVita

The kissaboos are reusable, washable cover for booboos, bug bites, itchy areas, unsightly bandages, scars or bruises. It can also be used to as a deterrent for  thumb-sucking, scratching or picking. Kissaboos reduce waste and save money by eliminating the need for disposable bandages. They come in three different sizes (all in one pack). They are:

  • perfect for that fall from a bike
Finger cover
  • fits any of the fingers, also helps deter thumb-sucking
Knee/Elbow cover Works well for:
  • bug bites
  • minor scrapes and scratches
  • itchy areas
  • any “invisible” booboos or ouchies
My Take: So what did we think? At first I was a little skeptical about the product. It says that it would fit on ages 0-9 but they seemed to be so tiny. Then I noticed the elastic at the ends. It appeared pretty stretchy. The covers were so cute! Blue with the little kisses on it! I must say the kisses were my daughter's favorite! They are also so soft on both sides. I'm not sure what you call the material.

How did they work? Well, it just so happens, my daughter had pulled off her fingernail really low so it was pretty uncomfortable. She kept messing with it so I showed her the kissaboo for your finger. She slipped it over her hand and loved it. She kept it on for the entire day.

Did I have any concerns with the Kissaboos? At first I was worried about what you did if they got dirty or after they had been used. Well that was answered quick because you just throw them in the washing machine and dryer! I've already done this once and didn't really notice any shrinkage. The only suggestion I would have is for these to come in different sizes. It's supposed to be one size fits all (ages 0-9) but I had a little trouble getting it on my three year old so I'm not sure it would fit on her when she is 9. She's a little on the tall side, so she has bigger hands and longer fingers than most kids her age. I think it would be helpful to have maybe a small and large size. Other than that I love these!

On a side note- ViveVita also has other products for sale. I actually own a Gripsterz that I won and I will be doing a review later for the Bandettes and Toothbands! Stay tuned!
