Review: Brew Over Ice with Keurig

I like coffee. I don't say LOVE because I don't drink it every single day. And one reason I don't drink it every day is because it has been super H-O-T here! I mean I can't imagine drinking a piping hot cup of coffee when I wake up at 6:30am and it's 80 DEGREES OUT! Yes 80 as early as 6:30 and 700am. Just doesn't work for me!

However, I do LOVE my Keurig. It just sits over on the counter looking lonely because I have been neglecting it due to the heat. Well, that was until I learned about all the K-cup Brew of Ice selections. I knew you could put ice in your cup and then make your coffee but the taste is sometimes watered down. That's why Keurig got together with some of the popular coffee companies and tea companies and made special brews of K-cups that are specially made to brew over ice! They even have a cute little cup to help promote this!

With Brew Over Ice K-Cup® portion packs, your Keurig brewer now makes refreshing iced coffee  or iced tea at the touch of a button, right in the comfort of your own home (and just in time for summer!)

Each K-Cup® portion pack contains the perfect amount of coffee or tea to deliver full flavor when brewed over ice, simply:
-       Fill a 16-oz. plastic cup with ice and place it under a Keurig Brewer
-       Choose the 6-oz. or 8-oz serving size
-       Brew directly over ice
-       The ice does the rest – stir and enjoy!

My Take: So I received an awesome brew over ice plastic cup, complete with straw and a sample pack of four of the Brew over Ice varieties: Nantucket Blend and French Vanilla iced Coffee from Green Mountain and then Southern Sweet Black Tea and Sweet Raspberry tea from Celestial Seasonings.

So of course, being a Southern girl I just had to try out the tea! Now I'm used to my tea not being sweet enough but this tea, YUMMY, it was perfect and simple to make. I just filled my cup with ice, stuck it under my Keurig, put my k-cup in and started brewing. Now they suggest you use 6oz or 8oz button. I wanted mine to be big so I chose 8oz and it was great. Not too strong and not too weak! I can't wait to try the rest of the brews! And if you're worried about how to make it I love that the cup and the box have picture directions on them! =)

There are also several varieites to choose from. Here's the list:
