#P&G #Family Movie Night- Game Time: Tackling the Past

Every week my family has movie night. Normally it's a cartoon and sometimes that can get a little boring for mommy and daddy or even when stepbrother comes to visit. That's why I'm so excited about P&G bringing back Family Movie Night! It's a movie that everyone in the family can enjoy no matter what their age.

Lately my kids have been all about sports. The latest Family Movie Night movie is all about football. My son is starting tumbling this year (he's too young for football but he asked) and my daughter is doing ballet (she also asked about football) so that made this movie perfect for our family!

The movie will actually be premiering this Saturday, September 3 on NBC at 8pm ET/7pm CT.

Pro football star Jake Walker returns to the small hometown he left in pursuit of a Hall of Fame career. But when he finds that his contract is not being renewed, he’s forced to reconnect with the family and friends he abandoned along the way. Can this all-star overcome his painful past in order to establish his future? If you want to learn more then check out the trailer below or visit the official Family Movie Night website.

We had the pleasure of pre-screening the movie this week. Honestly, the kids were a little too busy with other stuff to actually sit through and watch it on my little computer screen, although they would always run back for football scenes! I had to stop and finish watching it after they went to sleep. However, I thought the movie was great. It was a touching story and I was pleased with the acting. At first I was afraid it would be a little too after school special but it wasn't. This is a must see. Don't forget it's airing on NBC Sept.3 at 8pm EST!

Now if that's sparked your attention you might also want to fan the Family Movie Night Facebook page ;where you can learn more about this movie, past movies, and upcoming movies!

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of P&G and received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
