Well, we just finished our second yardsale and I'm super tired! I can't believe that we are going to try for number 3 tomorrow! BUT here's the funny part. Now that we've moved some stuff out of our house we are already thinking about how to start actually decorating rooms. Yeah, I know, we've been here for almost 6 months and we haven't started decorating. No painting, no art on the walls, no decorative tables, nothing! So where do we start?
We've actually already started. First, we bought a reclining love seat! It was a great deal at a furniture outlet down the street. My husband and I can both sit comfortably on it and the kids love to lie back in it. It's really helping our living room to come together. So of course, now that we have the couches and the chairs, my husband thinks the next logical piece of furniture is a coffee table. But what kind do you get? Do you go for the massive wood tables, a low coffee table or a glass one? Personally, I think we should just wait until the kids get older. I don't want them jumping off of them or climbing on them.
glass vases for the dining room table and kitchen island. And then maybe some mini glass vases for the guest bathroom and hallways. I'm just not sure! Why does it have to be so hard to decorate?!?
So far all you interior designing people out there? Where do you start with your decorating? Do you start big or do you start small? I would love to hear your thoughts.
