Sharing our #DogCollarCharms with others!

So if you remember last week I wrote a post about ordering personalized Dog collar charms from Dogcollarcharms.com. IF you don't remember, here's a picture of Dusty with his:

I also made two more to give away:

Well this past week we were planning on going to the dog park to share these charms with others but it ended up being in the 100s around here and we weren't able to make it. Instead we waited until it got cool and decided to take walks in our neighborhood. We have a very family friendly neighborhood with lots of dogs so I thought it would be perfect.

First we decided to invite over our dog park friend, Dolly and her owners. We had made a special charm to give to someone in my husband's unit and since they are getting ready to move we thought this would be a perfect going away gift. Unfortunately they were unable to come over so my husband took the charm to work. Luckily he was able to give it to Dolly's owner and then show it to some other guys he worked with. All the guys thought it was pretty cool but they didn't think they would pay that price. They also agreed that it was a much better way to accessorize their dog then buying clothing. Figures, men! LOL. Dolly's mommy called me later and thanked me and promised to send pictures which I will post later.

We did get a picture of a little dog in our neighborhood with his new charm. Actually this one was in my mom's neighborhood since we were visiting her. He's a cute little pup but as you can tell he has attitude and style. It was also super hot and sunny that day so the pictures didn't turn out as great as I wanted them to. However you can see that he loves his charm and playing with his big friend, Dusty.

Both owners loved the charms they just weren't too sure about paying the prices, although I did pump up the fact that they had free shipping. I also ended up handing out the extra pamphlets to friends of mine who saw Dusty's charm and thought it was super cute. If you like his charm then be sure to head on over to Dogcollarcharms.com and make one for that special four legged animal in your home!!

  1. What a great idea to make one for someone moving or being deployed. Nothing says "remember us" like a personalized charm on their dog!

Thanks for the great post... love hearing how much everyone like them!
