Review: the Cardi Wrap

I'm the girl who is always cold. We go out to dinner and I wear a heavy coat. We attend a festival in the evening and I'm wrapped up in a sweatshirt. I don't care where I go, I get cold. Unfortunately, I have one cardigan and I wear it with everything. If I'm not using it then I'm covering my pretty dresses and skirts with the big bulky coats or sweatshirts. Just not a cute look. So when the Family Review Network offered a review of the Cardi Wrap by Kymaro I was thrilled. A multifunctional cardigan AND wrap that can be worn in over 50 different ways! Here's more about this awesome creation for the cold natured friends.

This single multifunctional wrap can be twisted, tossed, tucked and slung to create 50 different figure-flattering styles and is an indispensable wardrobe addition. Drape the Cardi Wrap elegantly to accentuate your best features and camouflage imperfections. Want to have slimmer hips or hide a pesky muffin top? I KNOW I DO! The Cardi Wrap by Kymaro easily solves these flaws.

It can also provide a comfy extra layer in winter, worn over a summer dress, and there’s nothing better to take on a plane ride. The fashionable possibilities are endless.

My Take: I was so excited when I got the cardi wrap in the mail. I had already looked at the website and I was excited to try out all the styles. When I opened the package and saw that they had also included the accessory kit that has 5 different accessories that help with the many different styles! There was also a book with pictures and short instructions on how to achieve all the different looks.  I couldn't wait to start trying them out!

I am in love with this wrap. I've actually started just wearing it around the house to try out all the different styles. First I tried it with a spring dress. I love that there are sleeves like a cardigan! I never buy wraps because they don't have sleeves so this was perfect! I just let it hang the simple way at first because I was wearing a long dress. Then I tried to do some housework and found it was easier to simply throw one of the long corners over my shoulder and wear it draped like a wrap. I had so much fun playing with it. Here's a few pics:

The second day I wore it over jeans and a tank top. I found the cutest way to wear it with the tank and jeans was to simply drape over both corners or tie a loose half knot at the bust. Now like some other mommies I know I'm not THAT fashion conscious but I do try. Most of the ways I wore the cardi wrap were inventions of my own. I tried the ones in the cute little book that came with it but they weren't that easy for me. I think an instructional video on the site would be quite helpful. =) And let's not forget the most important part: it's machine dry cleaning needed. However, it suggests to lie it flat to dry instead of using the dryer. The material is super soft: 100% Viscose - Viscose has a silky appearance and feel, and also has the ability to breathe in a manner similar to cotton weaves. Viscose is very lightweight, easily manageable and the material drapes beautifully when worn.

Buy it: You can purchase the Cardi Wrap from the site for the price of $49.99. The accessory kit retails for $9.95. Right now they are running a special where you can get the Cardi Wrap and the accessory kit for $39.95 plus P&H. It is available in 7 different colors: Black, Grey, Red, Tan, Purple, Pink, and Blue and sizes Misses (0-12 dress size) and Plus (14 and up dress size).

Disclosure: This post was written for Family Review Network & Cardi Wrap who provided the complimentary product for review in exchange for my honest opinions. I was not paid nor compensated in any other way.
