Slim Me Down Week 13!

Jennifer from Jenerally Speaking and I have teamed up to start a 'Slim Me Down' WEEKLY Challenge. Each week we'll be weighing in, talking about our successes, struggles and goals. We'll be posting new recipes to try, websites to check out and support each other through the journey.

I'm hoping to get up another giveaway soon in honor of our weight loss challenge. Just waiting to hear from our new sponsor.

We hope that you will join us in our rebellion against fat pants and weigh in with us. If your not comfortable sharing your weight, no problem! Just tell us your goal and +/- for the week. For example, my starting goal was to lose 30 lbs and my weekly weight is +/- #.

I've been thinking alot about my goals for the future. I started trying to lose weight to not just to wear cute clothes but feel better about myself. It's turning into more than that .. I want to lose weight but lately I've really been focused on goals.

Goals are such a hard topic for me. I started out wanting to run a 1/2 marathon until a friend pointed out today that It's easier to set smaller goals and build up. With weight loss, thats easy for me. I know reasonably I'm not going to lose 10 pounds in a week so I set smaller goals for a month or two at a time. With running, I'm pretty new to it so thinking a 1/2 marathon (13 miles) in a year should be attainable but what I'm not adding in is the cold weather and not having a treadmill. 

So, focus on the smaller goals and work your way up!! :)

  1. The count down is on for daycare, right? Then you'll have lots of free time!! :)

  2. I blame the Peeps! I'm up 2 lbs since my Peeps obsession began anew right after Valentine's Day. I'm hoping to walk those fluffy marshmallows off before I become one myself.

    I'm really going to have to pace myself better :)
