Only two days left to enter the Eat Smart Digital Scale Giveaway!!

This is an awesome scale! I love it! Hurry on over HERE and enter!

Yes, I've finally started trying to really concentrate on losing weight and this time I'm being serious. Before my excuse was always, "I don't have a scale" or "I don't have time to weigh myself", anything to keep me less culpable. So when Jennifer from Life with the Lebedas, soon to be Jenerally Speaking, asked me to co-host a weight loss event I was excited,...well until she told me about the weekly weigh ins. Then I had to rush and get a scale. Lucky me, EatSmart was looking for reviewers.

Let me tell you about the EatSmart bathroom scales:

EatSmart Bathroom Scales are super accurate, easy to use and uniquely designed to perfectly match the decor in any home. Our scales are engineered to the highest precision standards to provide you with consistently reliable products. Stop guessing your weight and let our scales helpyou get serious about your fitness and weight loss goals.

My take: I was so excited to get my scale. I mean look at the picture above, they are super sleek and digital. No guessing what your weight is and no cheating needed. It's right there in front of you with a bright blue background! I got the EatSmart Precision bathroom scale to review.

The EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale is versatile, easy to use and great for any home. Simply step on the scale and in seconds you'll have an accurate readout on the EatSmart's oversized 3.5" LCD display. Its modern, sleek design of tempered glass compliments any surrounding and weighs up to 400 lbs.

When I opened the box I was a little scared. It was a pretty heavy scale and it was glass. I just knew that I was going to drop it and break it. However, it was beautiful. I sat it down and stepped on it and nothing happened. I turned it over to see if I needed to turn it on and that's when I realized that I needed to put in the batteries. Batteries were included but at first I couldn't find them. After a quick search I saw that they were taped to the Styrofoam that surrounded the scale. (I totally forgot to take a picture so you could see where they were). I quickly put in the batteries and stepped on the scale. It took it no time to register my weight on the bright blue illuminated background. Of course I didn't like the numbers I saw but it worked. Just to make sure I let my daughter stand on it (who had just been for her physical) and sure enough it was the same weight we got at the doctor! Here's a picture of the actual scale:

I love this scale and if there is one complaint I have is the glass. Since it is glass I have to clean it weekly when I clean my windows and other glass things. It can get a little spotty and it really shows up on the glass.
However, that's a quick fix with some Windex. Other than that we've had no other problems!

Buy it: If you would like to purchase the EatSmart Precision Digital Scale it retails for $37.95 but is on sale right now for $28.95! You can't beat that price! Just go HERE to order yours! While you are there check out the other scales that EatSmart has to offer from kitchen scales to luggage scales (great since airlines now charge you for overweight bags)!

Win it: To help me out with the Slim Me Down challenge, EatSmart has agreed to giveaway the same scale I have to one lucky reader!
