How cute is this? I remember getting Zoobooks as a kid so of course I was planning on passing that tradition on to my kids. However, Zoobooks are for kids 6-12 and I didn't think they made any magazines for little ones the same age as my kiddos. BUT they do! And it's called Zoobies. Cute, right? Don't worry if Zoobooks has all ages covered now! Zoobies are for kiddos ages 0-3, Zootles ages 3-6 and Zoobooks ages 6-12! Thanks to Zoobooks I was able to check out all three of these magazines and let you know what I thought of them all!

My Take: So I decided to share both the Zoobies and the Zootles magazines with my kids. I knew Zoobooks was too old for them but they did love the pictures and the giant hummingbird poster that was inside. First, we looked at the Zoobies magazine. My kids are 2 going on 3 and 1 going on 2. We got a magazine that was all about turtles. It was perfect! It helped my kids review body parts and they loved how you could lift the flaps! I loved the end of the magazine where they shared tips with parents on how to make the magazine more interactive including links to videos online!
Next we checked out Zootles. Although the ages are 3-6 I still think it's better for those kids in the upper age range. First the magazine has thinner pages unlike Zoobies. My kids could easily tear this one up (that's why I didn't let them read it alone). It also has more advanced and longer stories. Once again my kids loved the vivid and bright pictures but couldn't sit still through an article.
