It's Christmas time once again and who do I always leave out? Why, Dusty, my dog of course. He's the semi-silent one in the house and he never complains or asks for gifts unlike the other two running around. So in my quest to find Dusty some Christmas presents I was excited to get the opportunity from The Family Review Network and Big Paw Designs to pick out a gift for my 75lb puppy!

Big Paw Designs, founded in 2002, is a boutique, woman owned pet gift design shop. All products are designed and made in the USA. Big Paw Designs was inspired by the all of the over sized paws at home & a desire to provide unique, high-quality accessories for pets. Each pet had a paw into the designs.

The high-quality, handcrafted accessories are made in the USA and bring out the nobility in pets. Our unique items are copyrighted and protected by US copyright law. Big Paw Designs items can be found nationwide and in select international locations in fine pet and gift boutiques, garden stores, rescue organizations. One key point of differentiation for Big Paw Designs, beyond product excellence, is our commitment to rescue products and supporting pet rescue organizations.

My Take: Now here's the thing, Big Paw Designs said I could pick out one signature Big Paw item to review. However, they have so many great and meaningful pet gifts that it was hard to pick just one thing. Not only do they have item to bling out and accessorize your doggy or kitty but they also have helpful items, like door hangers, angel paws jewelry (to honor pets that have died), and special pet and owner accessories for those who rescued pets! I decided to choose an item to bling my doggy out. I picked the adorable collar charm pictured below.
Yes I know, it says "spoiled" so what does that tell you about my dog?? This is a Big Paw Designs original.  "Spoiled" w/ Dog Bowl pewter pet collar charm. Ring attachment included. Approx. 7/8" square. I love that the tag is pewter so I don't have to worry about it looking all scratched or gross from the weather. And the little design is oh so cute! (I think a few rhinestones would have really made it "pop" but they also would probably disappear after a few weeks with my dog). Ok so I'm a little slow. I didn't realize how small this charm actually was until I received it. I put it next to my dog's collar and it was hidden completely! I think it's just a little too small for him which kind of made me a little sad. Then I realized there was another dog in my family that could use this as a Christmas gift. My mom has a little miniature mixed breed, rescue dog, that it would be perfect for. He only weighs about 8 lbs and believe me, he's spoiled! So I'm super excited to give it to him. He was visiting for Thanksgiving but I told him he had to wait another month before he got his present! =)
