SSF: StaphAseptic Review & Giveaway

UPDATE: Head on over to my friend at Living on Love and Cents and The Thrifty Things enter her StaphAseptic giveaway and earn an extra entry for my giveaway. That doubles your chances of winning! Just leave a comment below and let me know!

If your family is like mine then you have some accident prone kids...especially in the summer time. There is just something about sunny days that make my kids braver. They must think it gives them super powers so they try to leap tall buildings (jump off the sliding board) and become stronger than a locomotive (carry big packages for their mommy without her asking them to). Yet it all leads to the same thing. One falls, gets a scratch and starts to cry.
Before I wasn't really worried about cuts and scratches, that is until a friend told me a horror story about her two year old almost getting MRSA from a small boil. I couldn't believe it! How does that even happen? Well, now there is something to help!

Introducing: StaphAseptic, a greaseless, non-staining gel that provides soothing minor wound care without stinging or irritation. It contains lidocaine for pain relief. StaphAseptic does not cure MRSA, staph or other infections but it does help with the prevention of bacterial infections caused by these culprits! If you want to know more about these infections, what causes them and how to prevent them please refer to StaphAseptic's MRSA FAQ. There is a wealth of information provided. Do not apply StaphAseptic to major wounds, remember it is only safe with minor wounds! Also, StaphAseptic is safe to use with children age 2 and up. Consult with a doctor if your child is under age 2.

My Take: It's amazing when you get something to review and then your children become super safe. So far (knock on wood), I've only used StaphAseptic once for a minor scrap that my little boy got when he was running on the sidewalk. He's a tough one so he didn't even flinch when I put the gel on him. I would actually consider the gel more of a cream personally. I also think it has a really "medicine" smell to it. I don't think it bothered the kids any, I'm just one of those smell people. I must say I was pleased with StaphAseptic and it makes me feel like I'm doing something proactively protect my kiddos!
